** I've finished moving to the larger hangar and putting things in their place. It is going to take a while to get used to where I put everything. I have been walking in circles looking and talking to myself.
** Christmas came a bit early. My attempt at a 3rd mixture cable came, and it fit just right. It is 53" long. I attended the Copperstate Fly-in and spent a lot of money at the Aircraft Spruce booth. I finally made up my mind to go with the Garmin G3X system. So I started buying. I ordered an extension that will fit the Garmin pitot, 2 autopilot servos and their mounting kit, the Garmin engine sensor kit, a Ray Allen position sensor for the flaps, and 2 USB power plugs. That should keep me busy while I wait for the new engine.
** Because of the mess-up with the fuel injection servo 1/2" extension, I had to redo the front left cooling baffles and air cleaner mount. I got new baffle parts from Van's and took some time rebuilding that. It came out much better than the first time. I just hope it fits with the cowl.
The new hangar is together and I'm finally back to building on the Lightning
It's a lot more to heat though now that it is late fall and getting cold
It needs leveled out some but I'll wait until I get the pitot
