** It's been some time since I have made an entry, I haven't been idle but have been waiting quite a long time for the replacement engine to show up. The latest is that it will enter the assembly line sometime late February. In the mean time I have been filling and smoothing the wingtips. They were pretty lumpy if you ran your hand over them. Now they are straighter and smoother. I still don't like sanding but am getting better at it.

** I installed the pressure sensors (fuel, oil & manifold) and put labels and connectors on. the labels are written on white heat shrink tubing and then overlaid with clear heat shrink tubing. This keeps the ink from smearing.

** I am trying to do some minor quality touches, so I took some time to recess the countersink washers for the aileron servo. I think it looks much more professional.

** The pictures of the flap connection and the fuel filter were added because I couldn't find any and was thinking about where to add the position sensor for the flaps.

** I am never standing still. If I don't have something physical to do to the Lightning at the moment, I am planning. I have contacted a Garmin distributor and they are putting a quote together for me. Hopefully that purchase will happen soon.
