**  Except for a few wires still needing to be run from the engine compartment, the firewall forward is done. I started mounting the electronic components or their mounting trays to the aircraft. The VPX Pro electrical bus and engine interface connection box were mounted to the sub panel behind the instrument panel. The others, (radio, transponder, battery, GPS, ADAHARS, ELT) were mounted on the floor behind the seat back. They will be hidden under the baggage compartment floor eventually. The placement of each component was chosen for ease of removal, by either screw removal or slide-out, and where the wire runs are most apt to go. The GPS position was chosen for best view of the sky with minimal interference of other components, like the magnetometer, com antenna, ELT antenna, and transponder antenna. They all are supposed to mounted miles away from each other, but the plane is only so big.
