**  Over the many months of flying I have been pretty satisfied with the lightning. The main concern I have had is the lack of sufficient up elevator trim. After much discussion with Arion, It has been determined that the weight of the elevators is to much for the trim to lift into neutral. It also kept the elevator heavy, even with full nose up trim, on approach with full flaps. A balance spring system was developed by Arion and subsequently install in my Lightning. It pulls on the elevator shaft and neutralizes the elevator. Instead of drooping while on the ground they are in plane. It has made an increasable difference in the flying. The trim planes out in flight and is more than sufficient for the 70knts approach with full flaps. The controls are still well balanced and smooth. The controls on the ground feel much better too, since there is no tug on the stick. A gentle pull of the finger tips will raise the nose of the plane.
