* I didn't like the way the lower intersection fairings fit the gear legs, so I used modeling clay and made my own. They fit tighter and have more of a shape the mimics the wheel pants and the fuselage. I think it will be a bit better for airflow too. The blue in the pictures is the Super-Fil micro balloon filler.
* On Saturday (2/18) I had a wing mounting party. It's nice to have a few friends that are willing to help out. Before mounting, David Roe suggested safety tying the hose clamps on the fuel lines that are in the wing roots, so we did. Bucks of ballast were added for easier movement of the fuselage. Not enough to get the nose wheel down but good enough. With that all done the fuselage was rolled out to the taxiway and the wings were carried out and placed on say horses. With everyone in position the wings were slid into the fuselage and bolted in place. This is said easier than it was done. The right wing seems to stick some and needs an extra push to get it into place. The Main bolts were secured with their washers, lock washers, and nuts. The AOI bolts, with seat belts in place, were tightened. The wing root fillets fit as well as could be expected (like a glove)!
* Thanks to everyone that was there. I hope you enjoyed the burritos and donuts.

Why is David slapping his head? Did we miss something?
