**  Looking at several certified planes that have round cowl inlets, and knowing that RV's have inlet ramps, I decided to add them to the Lightning upper cowl. It should help smooth the air flow to increase cooling and reduce drag. I don't think it will hurt. The only problem is that it stiffened the cowl and made it difficult to put on. I'll need to cut the ramps loose along the sides.

**  I've been running wires, bundling them together and making connections. A local machine shop cut the aluminum panel to match the wooden prototype. The holes needed a bit of filing but everything fits really well now.

**  After correctly configuring the VP-X, power came on for all the components. Getting them all to talk to each other is mot quite so easy. 5 of 8 are working. More work to be done but things are looking up.
